The First round of the Spanish champs was held the third weekend of March in Alhaurin de la Torre (AndalucĂa), with a total of 125 drivers taking part in this event.

The qualifying rounds went smoothly and I was able to secure 9th position and a direct pass to semi-final A. In The semifinal I made 3 small mistakes but I was able to finish in 4th position, earning my spot in the final.

FINAL
In the final I started the race in 10th position but, after a strong start, I was in 4th place at the end of the first lap behind Robert Batlle, Borja Hernandez and Antonio Salmeron. At the 10 minute mark, after a good fight with Antonio, I was able to move into 3rd position but, in the second pit stop, at the 15 minute mark, the engine stopped and I lost 2 laps before my pit crew was able to get it re-started and get my car back out on the track. After the stop, I was in 9th position, and with the limited time remaining, I was only able to work my way back up to 7th.

Final Older 40
In the â Older than 40â™ Final, Antonio Baldo (XRAY XB808) obtain the victory after a final without mistakes. He started the race in first position and he preserved that lead all the way to the checkered flag.
